Matthew C. Person, CPA
Matthew Person is the managing member of Person CPA Group. Matthew and his firm provide accounting and tax services, financial advising, and business consulting to individuals, businesses, and non-profit organizations. He focuses on QuickBooks software for small business accounting. He has taught QuickBooks classes to clients and the general public for eight years. Matthew has been a CPA for over 25 years. Matthew is a graduate of the University of Mississippi where he received a Bachelor of Accountancy degree in 1990. He has worked both in industry as well as public accounting for eighteen years where he gained a vast variety of work experience and knowledge of small business accounting issues. His professional memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Louisiana Certified Public Accountants, the New Orleans Chapter of Certified Public Accountants, a QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor, and a Life, Health, & Disability Insurance license.
Gina Kaupp, CPA
With nearly 34 years of experience in public accounting as a Certified Public Accountant, Gina brings a deep expertise in tax preparation and planning for individuals and small businesses. Her journey began with an international accounting firm in 1990 after receiving a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of New Orleans. She has a commitment to excellence and a passion for assisting clients in analytical problem solving and navigating the complexities of the tax law. Whether it’s optimizing deductions for individuals, resolving issues with the Internal Revenue Service or strategizing tax-efficient structures for small businesses, she is dedicated to maximizing financial outcomes while ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws. Beyond her technical proficiency, she receives satisfaction from building lasting relationships with clients. She believes in fostering trust and understanding, enabling her clients to make informed financial decisions. As a Certified Public Accountant, she continues to stay abreast of industry trends and tax law changes to provide up-to-date insights and strategies. She is committed to delivering personalized service that goes beyond expectations, ensuring that each client receives the attention and expertise they deserve. Gina is a volunteer at St. Ann Church and Shrine and a member of the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants. Outside of her professional responsibilities, she values family time and traveling.
Christine Fabacher
Christine Fabacher is a staff accountant with Person CPA group. She graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and in 2022 with a Master’s Degree in Accounting with a concentration in Taxation both from the University of New Orleans. She has 12 years of practice with personal taxes and financial accounting. She is knowledgeable in sales taxes and payroll taxes as well as QuickBooks.
Emily Boudreaux
Emily Boudreaux is an accountant with Person CPA Group and has been with the firm since the beginning of 2025. She graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting. She has a been preparing personal, business, and nonprofit tax returns since 2022, and provides both accounting and tax services.
Nicholas Person
Nicholas Person is an accountant with Person CPA Group and has been with the firm since 2019 following his service in the United States Marine Corps. Nicholas provides his clients with accounting services, QuickBooks training, and tax services. He is a graduate of Holy Cross High School New Orleans and the University of New Orleans where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Accounting. On weekends you can find him in the woods or hitting the links at any golf course. He resides in Metairie with his wife, son, and dog.
Amy Wyant-Troxclair
Amy Wyant-Troxclair is the Office Manager for Person CPA Group. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Southeastern Louisiana University. Amy’s passion for office management comes from her love for personal interaction and organizational excellence. Amy is usually the first person you will interact with at Person CPA Group and is always here to help, or talk LSU sports. Amy lives with her husband, Rick, and their two dachshunds.
Karen Fourcade
Karen Fourcade is the Part-Time Office Manager for Person CPA Group. She provides support for both our clients and staff. She has over 20 years of experience in public accounting. She is a graduate of Archbishop Chapelle High School.
Stacey Kidd
Stacey has been with Person CPA Group for 8 years. She has numerous years of bookkeeping experience with payroll, accounts receivable and QuickBooks. She is a native to St. Bernard parish and resides there with her husband and son.
